This year Oliver is heading into Grade 3 (geeze, where has the time gone!). Every morning when we start a new school year, it’s a big deal – full-on photoshoot and celebration. I’ve never been a fan of the typical chalkboard signs that are trending on Pinterest so I opted out on adding that detail within our photos. Our photos usually consisted of a story of the morning and our walk to school.

First Day of School Printable Flag

I stumbled upon the idea of a flag as an alternative to the chalkboard! I quickly jumped into Adobe Illustrator to see if I could create my own first day of school printable flag.

It was a success so I would like to give you the opportunity to print one out for yourself! I’ve included all the grades up to grade 6 in the download. Just print the page(s), cut along the line, and add any details you would like. We added some cute scrap fabric and ribbon from previous projects.
