Once the dough has chilled, remove it from the fridge you can roll it out until it is 1/4 inch thick and cut it with cookie cutters. Carefully put the cookies on a baking sheet leaving a 1 inch space between them.
Place the cookies in the oven for 7-9 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a baking rack before icing.
