Easy Valentine's Day Cake Mix Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

1 French vanilla cake mix 2 Eggs ½ cup Vegetable oil 2 tbsp Cornstarch  ¼ cup Granulated Sugar

Buttercream Frosting

1 cup unsalted butter softened 3 cups powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tsp cream

Mix together all of your ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl until a dough-like consistency is formed.

Place the dough in the fridge to chill for an hour in the bowl or in a ball covered with plastic wrap.

Heat your oven to 350 °F. Once the dough has chilled, remove it from the fridge you can roll it out until it is 1/4 inch thick and cut it with cookie cutters. Or simply scoop the dough with a spoon onto a baking sheet. Please note these cookies will spread so keep in mind to use a simple cookie cutter and maintain an inch of space between each cookie.

Place the cookies in the oven for 7-9 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a baking rack before icing (icing is optional)
