It is apple season and if you haven’t noticed already, I am all about apple recipes. I just recently posted about my Homemade Apple Sauce for Canning last week. This week I purchased a jug of fresh apple cider and just knew I had to make a cocktail. I was inspired by this Mule but added my own twist to it. This Apple Harvest Mule is the perfect cocktail for early fall. It is sweet, refreshing, and has a little bit of spice.
Ingredient
Fresh apple cider
Vodka
Ginger beer
Lemon juice
Raw cane sugar (rimmer)
Ground cinnamon (rimmer)
Cinnamon sticks (garnish)
Apple slices (garnish)
Fresh Rosemary (garnish)
How to Make an Apple Harvest Mule
Pour a bit of lemon juice into a shallow dish. I used a small salad plate. In another shallow dish mix together the cane sugar and cinnamon.
Take your glass and dip the rim in the lemon juice followed by the sugar mixture. Repeat if necessary. Set your glass aside and repeat with other glasses.
Add your ice to your glass and pour 1 oz of vodka over the ice. Add in your ginger beer, and lemon juice, and top with a generous splash of fresh apple cider.
